Bryce looking suspicious.
Weeeee this is FUN!
Drew at the top!
Drew zooming down!!!
Drew at the bottom!
Drew and the soft cushion at the bottom.
This is what the boys did after their half day of school (last day). What goofie little men I have. I even had to slide down after I went up with laundry. It was quite fun, I must admit.

this past week...playing catch up
I guess I have been slacking, and just waiting until I have a few things to post. This past week we were pretty busy.
Last Friday Bryce had his kindergarten graduation type thing. They just got certificates from Mrs. Billot. She also handed out candy bar awards. Bryce received the "Mr. Goodbar" award. This was for the student who is always a great friend to his classmates.
The boys went camping on Friday for
the weekend with their grandparents and cousins (mom's side.) We picked them up on Sunday and had a nice visit with lots of family friends and had great food. Adam had a fast pitch tourney all weekend in Bay City, and I worked.
Monday all 3 boys enjoyed their day golfing with "G" and Papa in Vassar, then we went to their house for hot dogs, burgers and salads. We finally saw Aunt Robin. She's not looking too pregnant YET but says she is wearing her pants that had been too big for her lately. Will be into maternity clothes soon by the sounds of it. She is VERY sick every day. Has a hard time with smells, brushing her teeth and eating textured foods. Poor girl!!
Wednesday the boys got picked up by "G" for school, she dropped Bryce off and went on Drew's big 5th grade field trip to the Detroit Science Center. I've heard it was a long 2 hr trip there and back, and 4 boys to watch was a bit much, but they were good over all. Lots of them took their DS's so they played and linked with them on the bus rides. Maybe we will need to take the boys there this summer for something fun to do.
Bryce walked to the library and had a pizza party at school. Then mom got her hair cut and we had soccer sign up for the fall. He is bumping up to U8. He will be with 1st and 2nd graders, and maybe a few 3rd graders that weren't ready to move up. There will also be goalies and playing at bigger fields. Then we had another t-ball game. Bryce was very excited about Wednesday, b/c we had so many fun things to do.
Thursday and today are half days at school, with today being their last day. It's hard to believe the school year is DONE!! It's exciting but sad. Drew adjusted VERY well to middle school. There were many big changes and big steps for him. In 6th grade, they have the same teachers they had this year, so it should be an easier transition. Bryce also had big steps going to Kindergarten. He was there full time, all day, every week day. There was more learning time and less play time. He learned how to read, write lots of words, make sentences, how to add (sum) and much much more then that. He has amazed me.
Thursday afternoon, Bryce fell asleep in the lazy boy. He is such a goofie kid. I of course had to snap some pictures of the crazy way he slept. Drew had a game on Thursday night. We are in a slump and lost game 5 in a row. Drew had a great pop up. It went to the short stop, who he assumed was going to catch it, so he slowed down. Well the kids dropped it, but picked it up so fast and threw it to 1st, that Drew was out. Had he ran thru the base and not slowed down, he would have been safe. O well. Ya live and learn.
I guess that's all for now. Hope everyone had a great week. Glad school is over, and summer break begins. No more home work, no more early bed times!! YEAH!!!

Last 2 week...up dates
So, because my ribs have been hurting, I haven't posted much on here, since it hurt to sit here. Today I am off and am going to make a good attempt at up-dating the last few weeks. I am STILL trying to post a video. If anyone has any helpful hints on how to do it, please let me know. I can't seem to figure it out!! UGH. Anyways. My ribs have been in since Mother's Day when I woke and couldn't breathe again. I called the chiropractor and he met Adam and I at his office. I am back to work, since Saturday after taking about a week and a half off. I am still a little sore and still not lifting. But I would guess I am back about 90%. Here are our up-dates.
What a cute clown!!
Drew had his 5th grade awards assembly yesterday morning. Grandma Cheryl and I went to it. Were were very excited when he was called up there for Computers MOST IMPROVED and Science HARDEST WORKER. He also received all A - B honor roll and every 5th grader received the Smart Moves reward. The smart moves was something they were required to do. Officer Hadd came into their science class for 3 weeks, every tues and thurs and taught them about drugs, peer pressure, how to say no and smart moves. It was interesting and very helpful. After they completed this, they went swimming at the Midland Community Center (last Thursday) with Officer Hadd. Here are his rewards he received. CONGRATULATIONS Drew......we are extremely proud of you!!
Top left is the smart moves award. Top right is the A-B honor role.
Bottom left is the hardest worker science, and bottom right is most improved in computers.
After I left Drew's 5th grade rewards assembly, I went to Bryce's field day. I missed a few things, but watched about 5 different games his class played. They all wore orange Reese Field Day t-shirts, which made it so much easier for me to find the kindergarten class LOL. In these pictures he is doing the long jump which he tied for 1st place on, and there are 3 of the 4 runners in his relay race they did around the track. He had a great time, but was VERY tired after as were all the kids.
Bryce smiling with his field day shirt on.
Long jump....GOOOOOOOO Bryce
Bryce, Cody and Nathan....3 of 4 in relay race.
Bryce had another t-ball game last night as well. He got to be catcher. He was very excited and did a great job. They of course don't keep score in t-ball yet, but he did great.
Big smile.
Getting ready......
Cute catcher ready for that ball.
Super close up, taken by big brother.
Playing right field, ready for that ball.
Adam went to see his Dr. on Monday after work, to get the results of his MRI. We found out that he pulled both ligaments on either side of his ankle, and there is fluid around his ankle. He has to soak his foot in warm water for 20 minutes a few times every night, and he has to get a medicine to take as well. If his ankle doesn't feel better in 6 weeks, he is to go back to the Dr. to see what else we need to do. I think he's planning on playing ball this weekend while the boys are camping and I am working. He will miss a game tonight due to both little men having games tonight also.
I also wanted to post a HUGE thank you to "G", Papa and Grandma KayKay for all the love and support at all the boys ball games. All 3 of you have been to a few games and I know the boys really appreciate it. Also, Aunt Bobbie and Aunt Pam took time out last week to come watch a t-ball game and a Major game, on a chillie night!! Thank you!!! Well......I do believe thats enough for now. Once I learn how to post a video, I will get a few of them on here. Sorry so long, but I was absent for a few weeks, LOL.

I don't think I put any of Bryce's opening day ceremony pictures on here yet, so as I look thru pics, I will post 1 of those. These are from t-ball.
During our big garage sale, the boys were being goofie riding their scooters around the tables when no one was around. I added to their goofie-ness and put some hats on them that we were selling. Too cute.
Drew wearing a spider winter hat.
Bryce wearing the head of a dinosaur halloween costume.
Bryce's soccer season is done now. They ended up being undefeated in the Spring, but had 1 tie. Their last game we left tied 1-1. O well. They did awesome. Bryce's coaches were GREAT and he became good friends with the coaches son from Frankenmuth. We are going to have him over to play and vise versa. His coach asked if we were planning on moving Bryce up to the next level or not. He said according to his age, he could stay at this level, but he is very ready to bump up. Adam and I have talked about it, but we still aren't sure yet. IF we leave him where he's at, he will dominate but if we bump him up, he will learn SO much more. In the next level there is a goalie also. He LOVES being defense, so thats a bonus for him. Sign up is May 28th (a week away, so we have to figure out what we are going to do!)
Bryce with his cousin Dustin who plays soccer in Bay City.
Bryce and 5 other team mates and his 2 coaches.
Bryce finally had his t-ball pictures taken last week. They were cancelled about 2 times. I snapped a few and wanted to share. Drew also had a game that night, so I got a picture of the 2 of them in their ball uniforms.
Both ball players.
Bryce with his t-ball team and coach. (2nd from left standing.)
Bryce had his Kindergarten Spring Concert on Monday night. He had to dress as a clown. I put face "paint" on him. I learned that boys don't like being told their clown make-up looks good, because boys don't wear make-up. They wear face paint!! He is such a shy little guy, so when the curtains opened up, he was right in the front row, and I thought for sure he was going to take off and go cry, but he held his own, and did great. He was the cutest little clown ever!! The kids sang 9 songs and did different hand gestures and things for each song. Bryce did great even thought he's so shy when it comes to stuff like this. Now sports, thats another story, LOL.

Adam's fast pitch softball schedule....
Many of you have been asking for this, but since I haven't been sitting here for a long period of time, I haven't taken the time to post this yet. I figured I take the time and do it today. Adam did get an MRI on his ankle, but we haven't heard anything yet. He hasn't played in any games yet this season, but he insists he's well enough to do so, without hearing what the MRI says. He is pumped and ready for his game tonight, although it may be rained out. He has missed a few tourneys already.

a hault on my blogging....
Well, as it turns out, my ribs don't like to stay in, and once again, Adam and I were at the chriporactor on Mothers Day after I woke up crying, b/c they hurt so bad. I called my Dr. and he met us at his office. I couldn't breathe and it was killing me. Anyways, I have lots I want to post, and am even going to attempt a video of Drew "big hitter" B..... when I am feeling better. Sitting here for a few minutes is killing me and I can't chance popping my ribs out again. How I wish we had a lap top. Anyways, I am off work til Saturday so I am allowed to sit in my chair and get up to use the rest room...thats about it. I really need to rest all week, in hopes the ribs stay in FINALLY!! I wish I could fast forward about 3 weeks so the pain is gone. I even slept in the chair last night b/c I do believe I popped the ribs back out in bed Saturday night...just sleeping too....this SUCKS!!!! (sorry) but it does. That's the only word to explain it. Even my Dr. agreed with me. So when I am back to normal, I will post my up dates. Until then, I am sure I'll get on to read e-mails for a short time and try to keep up on others blogs. Take care blogging family and I will rest so my ribs stay in! Everyone pray you don't ever hurt, break or pop out ribs!

Tues. Wed and Thurs.
Drew had a baseball game again Tuesday night, and it was a close one. They won 11-10. There were quite a few home runs, including 3 over the fence, but a few in the parkers, due to bad throws and such. Drew struck out once and was walked the 2nd time up. He was on first and due to a bad throw, was sent to 2nd, but he slowed down to slide at what was going to be a close play and he ended up being out. We definitely need to practice on our sliding. He was bummed, and I honestly don't think he should have been sent to 2nd anyways. Oh well.
Bryce was suppose to have a t-ball game last night, and have to miss a soccer game. Because it rained so bad, t-ball was called so we did soccer instead. My mom came over about 5pm, and once Adam was home, we were off to the "muth". Bryce's team won 3-2...probably their closest game yet. He had 1 goal.
Today we started our annual garage sale. My mom is pretty much spending the weekend out here to help out. We sold quite a bit, even though the "gilford/vassar rd" sales don't officially start til tomorrow. I was suppose to be to work at 2pm, but when I got to work, the other 2 gals there asked me how my back was feeling with my ribs, and I said sore. They made me call the chiropractor again, and he said he was surprised I hadn't called him back yet anyways. I told him I was still in pain, but not as bad as last Thursday. He told me to come right over and he'd get me in. So I was off to the "muth." He popped 2 ribs back in that had popped back out again. UGH!!! On the way home, I texted my boss and told him I had gone in b/c Dawn made me, and I had 2 ribs popped out again, and I was to do NO lifting still. That was about 1 minute before I was back to work. Before I walked in the store, he had called and told Dawn I was to go home and rest. I was feeling ok, much better then before I went to the chiropractor, but my ribs can very easily pop out again and he didn't want to chance that. I am off the weekend with the garage sale, so I will sit around a lot here and take it easy. Tonight, while waiting for Adam to get home, I layed on the couch and was almost in tears talking to my mom, b/c it feels like my ribs are popped back out again, and I haven't done anything. It's SO hard to sit around and do absolutely NOTHING!!! I don't know if they are out again or not. Sometimes they are really sore and make me want to cry, and other times they seem ok. It really hurts to twist my top half though. I haven't slept good in over a week. I am sure Adam hasn't either b/c every time I shift to get comfie again, I wince in pain and wake him up. It SUCKS!!!!! So I am still layed up.
Adam had to stop at Bay Med and get a test done on his eyes after work, to make sure he don't have metal in them. He goes in for an MRI tomorrow morning at 8:30am. So far we haven't heard anything about metal or not. Let's pray he can get the MRI. We don't really know what they will do if he does have metal in his eyes and can't get the MRI done. Will have to wait and see tomorrow morning. I was under the assumption Bay Med was rushing this eye test done today, b/c of the MRI scheduled tomorrow and that we'd get a phone call. No idea.
We also got awesome news last night from Adam's sister Robin and husband Tim. Until we know a little more info, I will leave you all to wonder and taunt you until I can say more!
Off to sit in the chair and watch CSI and Without a trace.

Drew
Just a quick postie. Drew had a ball game last night. They won 12-1. He finally got a nick on the ball, and it was foul. He ended up being walked. We are just glad he's swinging. 1 of these days he will get ahold of one. He plays late tonight and early on friday. (7:15 or 5:30.)

Soccer or T-Ball....which will he choose?!?!
Bryce has a soccer game and a T-ball game on Wed this week. I just wanted to let you know what he will be doing that night. He was suppose to get t-ball pictures taken on Monday night at 5:30pm, but they had to switch it to Wednesday night, therefore, he has to go to t-ball that night!! He didn't even get to choose. That means he will only have 1 more soccer game. I do believe its Saturday (a week from today, could be wrong, and my back hurts too bad to go look sry). But I know a few were wondering what he was going to do that night, so there ya have it. Off to shower and get ready for opening day t-ball, our first game and mommy/son fishing later....ouch my back!

Adam's Dr. appointment
Adam went to see a Dr. about his ankle injury from this winter's men's league basketball. Mid January he came down on from a lay-up and landed on someone elses foot. His ankle has been bothering him ever since. He got 3 x-rays today and we found out he didn't break it, thank goodness. Dr. believes he tore some ligaments. He goes Thursday night after work for a test at Bay Med to make sure he doesn't have metal in his eyes (yes weird I know all for a foot injury) but knowing where he works, and working on metal on a regular basis, he needs this done. Then Friday at 8:30am, he gets an MRI done on it. Once Dr. gets the MRI results back, we will go talk to him again, and see what he wants to do. Possibly therapy on it for awhile to get the ligaments back to normal. IF therapy doesn't do the trick, Dr did mention going in for surgery to fix the ligaments. BUT thats the last option. Thats after trying all the things Dr says. So lets pray the MRI is good, and that just therapy will work. That is all I know. Will keep you UTD when I know more.

Our adventurous Thursday
My back has been hurting me since about Monday night. I was off work tues and wed. so it wasn't real bad, but still very sore. NO IDEA what I did. Adam tried to massage it out Wed night with no luck. Thursday at work, I think after being on my feet for so long, it all caught up to me, and I was crying I was in so much pain. It hurt to breathe, stand, sneeze, bend...anything. I got someone to come in early and I was off to the Frankenmuth Chiropractor (never been before). I got 6 x rays to make sure I hadn't broke a rib, filled out my paper work, while sitting in pain, til finally went back. It seemed like forever, but I know it wasn't, I just wanted my pain to be eased some how. Of course he examined me and had me do a few stretches and stuff, then I layed down and he popped 4 of my ribs back in, that I had somehow popped out. OUCH!!!! I am still in lots of pain, which he said is normal, b/c they were just popped back in. I am icing it, and sleeping on the heating pad. Today I am going with Bryce to a musical thing at the temple theater, as his end of the year field trip!! I can't pick anything up for awhile!! That's gonna be hard for me. I don't work til Sunday now, so hopefully I'll feel better by then.
Last night both boys had games. Drew's baseball team won 4-1. We weren't there b/c we had soccer at the same time. Drew said he was walked and made it around base...not sure if they were stolen or from hits.
Bryce's soccer team won 6-1. He scored 1 goal. They were undefeated in the fall, and are again so far in the spring. I guess b/c they are so small and just getting into soccer, the other teams coaches are suppose to be evaluating each of our kids (haven't seen Bryce's coach doing it.) But I over heard the other coach and our assistant coach talking, and she said everyone is pretty average except Bryce and Cory!!! Cory is very good, but Bryce holds his own on the field. I guess this is how they decide to put them on teams in the next season so the teams are fair. I am guessing by the sounds of it, Bryce and Cory will be separated!! Darn, Bryce really likes Cory.
Anyways, I got to get ready for our field trip. Adam goes to get his ankle looked at today at 1:50...will post what we find out!
