I am hoping if I start Spring cleaning, maybe the weather will warm up. Yesterday I cleaned out the junk drawer and tossed lots of goodies. I also cleaned the shelves in the bathroom. (we have a HUGE shelving unit that I hate.) I tossed lots of things that I have had in there forever and obviously haven't used yet. I also took lots of different lotions to work, since we go thru so much there. Looks lots better and now I can actually see what I have in there and what we need.
So this morning, I decide to go clean the wooden shelving unit thingie in the garage. This is where we keep lots of our cleaning supplies, but other junk always seems to be tossed on it also. So I clean the top 2 shelves toss junk, go to the middle shelf where I see bird seed in a bag. Toss that and guess what is laying behind it?!?! AHHHHH a MOUSE!!!!! I am scared crap less of mice. I run in the house. Jumping up and down, screaming. Saying ok, settle down, wash your hands, put some rubber gloves on, get the little dust pan, and get rid of it. (I am seriously saying all this out loud to my-self!!) Daisey is just looking at me like she's lost it. So I get my gloves on, my heart is pounding out of my chest. I get the little dust pan and broom and go out in the garage. Some how I muster up enough courage to broom what I think is 1 mouse into the dust pan, and realize it's actually 2 little tiny baby ones. AFTER I over come my own fears, I toss them screaming the whole time (yes they are dead) and I call Adam. He said I sounded like I just ran a marathon. Anyways, I'm alive and the 2 baby mice are in the garbage!!
Tomorrow I'm hoping Adam, Bryce and I can get the rest of the garage cleaned. Drew is spending the night at a friends tonight. Bryce is our big helper anyways. Enjoy your weekend everyone!!

Past few days
Last Wednesday at 2pm...I had a full body massage and a facial at a spa in Bay City. WOW was it amazing. This was a Mother's Day gift from Adam and the boys (last mothers day) I had to wait 2 months to get into the spa...but it was well worth it. After that, the boys, "G" (grandma) and my-self went to see high school musical on ice at the Dow.

On Saturday, I worked, but Adam took Bryce to the Easter Egg hunt in Reese. He just walked (not ran) to collect eggs, but still had a good time. He didn't get tons of things, but enough.
On Saturday after work, we colored Easter Eggs. Each boy had 12 to do. They had a good time, as did mom and dad. We got to color the cracked ones.
On Easter Sunday, Adam and I woke the boys to find eggs and baskets. They had a great time, even though we still can't find an egg in the basement. Then we went to Church where Drew had to acolyte, Papa had to elder and "G" had to read. We went to "G" and Papas house for lunch where the boys found eggs, their baskets and went on a scavenger hunt. About 4:30, we left there to head into Bay City to the other set of grandparents house, where they
had to find more eggs and another basket. Then they played bingo for cool prizes with their cousins. All in all, other then a bit of a busy day, we had a great Easter. Lots of fun visiting with our family.
I took Monday off work to spend the day with the boys. We went to Vassar and saw Horton Hears a Who!! It was very cute. Now I've been working the rest of the week, but have the weekend off!!! YIPPIE!!!
Have a great week, and a wonderful fun filled weekend, as we will too!!
P.S. Oh yeah...thanks to our wonderful family for helping us by buying the rest of Drew's candy bars he was selling for baseball!!
P.S.S. Congrats to my best friend all thru childhood who called me yesterday to tell me they are expecting baby number 2!!! Keep me posted!! Miss ya

The new adventure in our life....
So on Thursday this past week, my Uncle called me and said he had a truck that he was looking to get rid of...knowing we were looking for an old beater type truck. Saturday afternoon, we picked up my mom and made our way out to KRUMP.....and drove back our new adventure. We bartered for the truck, instead of exchanging cash for it. We were looking for a truck, they had one they didn't want....we have a pole barn that we store items in for the winter, they have a motor home they want to store. So that was the deal...2 years of storage for the truck. (Its a 1995)
Uncle Jerry says the truck needs works...but Adam loves an adventure. He drove it home, but while stopping for gas, didn't want to shut it off in case it wouldn't start again. We've been told it needs brakes, a muffler, tires, a battery possible a catalytic converter and a starter...(I think thats it LOL.) Adam is VERY excited because now he won't have to bug his father in law or ask his work to borrow a truck for wood or dry wall or whatever may come up. The body is in AWESOME shape and it has a topper, is an extended cab and has a cap on it. All bonus's for us. It also has 1 part to the Reese hitch, I guess he just needs the ball and the part that it is on...then he can get a trailer to haul wood. Anyways...this is our new adventure so today I get to change the title, get insurance and a plate for it.
Drew had a BUSY weekend.....he didn't come home from school on Friday until Sunday night...LOL. "G" and Papa picked the boys up after school on Friday, took them to the Rocket for pizza and bowling, then they spent the night there. Saturday we met the boys up at the Rocket, dropped Bryce off to his first friends birthday party and took Drew to a friends house for the night. Adam and I ran some errands in Saginaw, picked Bryce up in Reese, picked mom up and ran to Krump. Sunday I woke up not feeling well at all. Adam and Bryce went to his cousins confirmation at Church then to the party. I woke up about 11:30am, got dressed and went to the party. Drew went to a Catholic Church with his friends parents in Munger then to a roller skating party in Bay City. We picked him up about 5pm on Sunday night. LOL BUSY kids!!! We showed him the truck and he asked if that is his new vehicle. Hey who knows...lol
So that was our busy weekend. Hope you all had a great weekend as well. This week we get to decorate Easter Eggs!!!

MOLLY
Molly went to the vet yesterday for her rabies and last distemper shot. She weighs 29 pounds...just thought I'd share that!!! Adam called her a hog (jokingly) She's an awesome puppy and we love her to death. Couldn't ask for a better little gal. Potty training is going good for the most part!!
So I've been tagged....thanks
Here goes.....
10 years ago......Adam and I would be parents to a 1 year old, probably just moving out of my parents place into our own apartment...not married yet but engaged. My sister would have just broke her hip in Jan and she would quite possibly be down in Florida at her boyfriends house. Adam would probably just be starting at Joint Clutch and Gear or maybe still at UPS. I'd be a asst. manager at KFC.
5 things on my to do list today:
1. Finish laundry
2. Shower and go to work 12 hrs
3. Help Dawn make 10 pizzas for a big order at St. Michaels
4. Get Bryce from school and drop off 4 pizzas at Drew's school for his basketball pizza party.
5. Go back to work, and finish my 12 hr shift.
Things I would do if I were suddenly a Billionaire:
Build a new house, quite my job...(I love working there but c'mon it's a gas station)...let Adam quite his if he wanted to. Pay off all our bills, and my in-laws medical bills they are dealing with. Built my brother a house. Pay for my sister to finally get married. Put money away for the boys for college. Buy a cabin on a lake so we had a place to go relax at and go fishing on our new boat. Buy my mom a yellow convertible beetle.
3 of my bad habits:
Trying to be a perfectionist with things around the house and not giving Adam or the boys a chance (because it won't meet my standards.)
Interrupting people.
Spending money.
Jobs I've had:
Taco Bell at 16 yrs old for about a month
Asst. Manager at KFC
Asst. Manager at Big Boy
Home Day care (miss this LOTS)
Asst. Manager at Citgo (Yes Joe you were correct!!) LOL
Most rewarding job ever BEING A MOMMY
5 Things people don't know about me:
1. Adam and I weren't married when we had Drew
2. I am scared of MICE!!! ewwww
3. I can be a big time procrastinator if I need to do something I don't want to.
4. I was a gymnast, a diver and a swimmer growing up.
5. I should just become a vegetarian b/c I don't like many meats!! GROSS but am too lazy to look into it more.
OK...now it says I need to tag someone else...I guess that's ROBIN and JILL (my old house Jill LOL)

Pretending we are Aunt Robin
Drew came home from school today and was all excited about a science experiment he did at school!! He wanted us to try it at home, but the mean mom that I am, made him finish his homework and read his A.R. book first. So after dinner, we got all our items together and did our experiment. We were looking for chemical reactions. Drew said the neatest one was vinegar and baking soda, so we saved that for last. We found out that vinegar and salt makes vinegar salt water, and that water and salt makes salt water....nothing exciting. Then we learned that baking powder and water makes small bubbles, nothing major. Baking powder and vinegar makes bigger bubbles (chemical reaction) but still nothing to get excited about. We then learned that water and baking soda get bubbly and fizzy, but nothing too exciting yet. THEN we added vinegar to our baking soda and WOW did that bubble up. After watching it bubble with just a little of each, Drew convinced me to add more. It just about bubbled over the top of our container. Both boys had goggles on, because we were conducting a science experiment. They thought it was really neat. Bryce just giggled and laughed at Drew who was in amazement. Adam snapped pictures as mom played science teacher.
It was fun to do this with the boys, so I thought I'd share our fun with you. Adam warned them to never try these at home without mom or dad helping. Enjoy the pictures.

Up dates from our week....
WOW, so it's been over a week since I've taken the time to post on here. I'll try to make this short and give you the gist of our week. Last friday after work, we drove to Lapeer and got a hotel with 2 other families from Drew's basketball team. They had a tourney at 9am on Saturday so we thought it would be fun to get a hotel with a pool and let the kids play. So that's what we did. The kids swam for about 3 hours, having a blast. Bryce is just a little fish, swimming with the big 5th graders, jumping in with them and just hanging with them. He did get a big angry when Drew went to a room with just the 5th grade boys and a dad, and Bryce had to come sleep in mom and dads room. Within 5 minutes, he was snoring and completely forgot. So Saturday morning we get up, eat breakfast and headed to North Branch. We won our 1st game but lost the 2nd game. Drew did go for 2 shots in the 2nd game and was fouled on both. He made 3 of 4 free throws.
Wednesday evening the 5th grade boys played the 5th grade girls in a "scrimmage" at St. Elizabeth. Oh my goodness what fun. I've heard that the girls wore their warm up gear to school and all had their hair in buns on the tops of their heads. Drew also informed me that the teachers were saying the girls were gonna win. While sitting there watching both teams warm up, the girls definitely did look a lot smoother then us. Little did the girls know, the boys have all hit their growing spirts and basically toppled over them for rebounds. We scored first and never looked back. At half time, Jade (our coaches daughter) talked to the 5th grade girls coach, and planned on surprising the boys by having her play on their team. She's in HIGH SCHOOL!!! LOL The boys were just shocked, while all the parents laughed. Jade being on the team didn't even faze the boys, and they still kept their cool, although not getting all the rebounds now, but still holding their own. Then coach Jen went in to help the girls. The non official score of the game was 50-30 BOYS!!! Drew informed us that it was bragging rights and that if the boys had lost to the girls, there would be no 5th grade boys basketball team players in school on Thursday!! LOL. The boys were playing their little hearts out to beat them girls. It was lots of fun and I hear another game is in the works.
Friday night we went to the Reese Rockets basketball game. Them poor boys. They played very good. I think towards the end, the officials picked who they wanted to win, and made it happen. We got some pretty bad calls on us. Oh well, it is what it is.
Saturday we spent all morning and afternoon between the Caro HS and middle school in our last 5th grade boys basketball tourney. We started at 9:50am, loosing in our first game. UGH Thank goodness it was a double elimination game. We won our 2nd game, now having to play again at 1pm. I needed to be to work at 2pm, but I called and asked the gal that was there if she'd stay a bit longer, so I could watch 1 more. I'm so grateful she said yes. So we started our 3rd game about 1:15pm winning that game as well. Which meant we played again at 2:40pm. I knew I needed to go, so I headed to work, but not before giving Drew a big hug and wishing him luck. I was in complete contact with Adam via texts and he was keeping me UTD!!! They won their 4th game, taking them into the semi-finals, where we lost steam. We ended up loosing the 5th game 22-18. So out of 8 teams we finished 3rd. Not bad. Drew has defiantly stepped up this year. He is part of the team and tries his hardest to help get them a win. He is very impressive and we are very proud of him. Maybe basketball is his calling, who knows...LOL. From what I hear now, the 5th grade boys want to play their moms!!! Oh my...I've never played basketball!!! We shall see if this happens. I suppose it would be fun. Drew plays with a GREAT bunch of kids, all of which have very awesome parents as well. We've all become pretty close over the last 2 months.
Oh yeah also some night this week, Bryce was laying on the couch with Molly. Adam thought it was too cute and told me to snap a picture, so I thought I'd share that as well. She goes to the vet on Wednesday for her rabies so I am sure we'll see how much she has grown yet again. She has been sooo great about potty training as well. While we were away Friday night, my parents watched both dogs at their new house (shocking) and there were no potty accidents!!! WTG Molly, LOL. Although "grandpa" did say next time leave the kids and take the dogs, b/c they do LOVE to fight!!! (louder the the boys even)
Today I had to work again. Now I am sitting here watching TV about to head to bed.

Grossology in Midland
Today the boys went with Grandma Kay Kay and Great Aunt Nancy to the Midland Center for the Arts. They learned all about gross bodily stuff. They told me that we all swallow a quart of snot every day...UGH, that noses have hair in them (Bryce had to look in Grandpa's and YES they do!!) Bryce climbed a pimple wall, they went down a slide and came out the rectum...(who comes up with this stuff?!?!) they climbed in a nose, they shot booger balls back into a huge nose, they also did some not so gross stuff, like sat in a tractor, played some instruments, listened to music, played with big blocks, played on a sail boat. That was about the gist that I got from them. They had a great time!! They then went to McDonalds for lunch. The pictures I am putting up are of the pimp wall, the rectum slide, the booger shooting thing, the big nose and sail boat (the boys are laying down on the seats, swimming, LOL.
Thanks for a great afternoon Grandma and Aunt Nancy!!! I am sure Adam and I will be hearing about gross bodily things for a long time to come!!!

Puzzles and Molly...LOL
Bryce has been into putting puzzles together lately, and I figured since they are on "winter break" why not?!?! He's done 2 ~ 100 piece puzzles so far, with a little help getting the edges together. He wanted to try a bigger puzzle, so mommy had to take the 2 smaller ones apart to make room on the table. Well he got made until I told him I'd take a picture of them. So I wanted to share with everyone.
Also, last night Bryce and Drew were messing around and of course Molly was right there. She somehow got in the middle and Bryce came up crying. From what we understand, Drew was sitting on Bryce, and maybe Molly thought she was helping Bryce, but scratched him instead. Thought I'd share his battle wound!!! While trying to get a good picture of Bryce's face, Molly had to come see what was going on....so I snapped a few of them together.

The boys and their k nex...
Bryce had gotten a small set of k nex for his birthday from Great Aunt Sharon, Great Uncle Mike, Sara, David and Faythe (Adam's side). It was 1 of 4 smaller pieces to put together and make a big 4 wheeler. The little 1 is a motorcycle. So him and I put it together and he was hoping some day he'd get the other 3 pieces. Well mommy and daddy bought him them for valentines day. So this morning, Drew , Bryce and I built the other 3 motorcycles, and snapped them together to make the BIG 4 wheeler. These littler k nex are a little hard for Bryce, but mommy helped him. He still loves his kid k nex better, because he can use them better. But anyways, after it was done, mommy had them lay on the table (don't ask me why!!!) and I snapped a few pictures. It was fun and the boys didn't even argue very much, LOL.
