Molly went to the vet on Wednesday. She is 14 weeks old and weighs 22.8 pounds...what a hog, LOL.....j/k Molly, we love you!!! Her vet said that was perfect. She enjoyed her first t-bone tonight. I made t-bone steaks for our Valentines dinner, we ate by candle light and off our new china. It was so romantic, even the boys that it was neat. Bryce said we were eating on Chinese....LOL. Bryce wanted ketchup on his steak...YUCK...but we got him to try BBQ sauce, and he thought it was yummy. He wouldn't give the A1 sauce a try though. OH WELL...in time.
Drew got 100% on a math test this week. He was so excited. He said it was him and 3 others in 5th grade that got them all right!!! WTG Drew. He just showed us a B- on a science test, that he struggled with and studied a lot for, so that was good!!!
Bryce celebrated his 100th day in kindergarten yesterday (was suppose to be on the 8th but with all the snow days, it kept getting pushed back). He had a good time with that, and was excited that he had been in school for 100 days!!! He had a great Valentines Day party today at school. I had to work, but he came home with lots of really neat valentines from all his friends.
I got new windshield wipers put on my van for Valentines Day (I really needed them) and a very romantic card. I got Adam the SAW 4 movie (gave it to him early) and a bunch of candy, but also made steaks for dinner (he was in heaven). Also while at work today, a regular customer bought me a $10.00 instant lottery ticket, so after work, I scratched it, and won $30.00!!! (thats what bought our steaks, LOL). We bought that boys some new k nex tubs and some candy for valentines day. Drew was excited b/c I picked out the latest ones ~not knowing~ but they are the bendie ones. Bryce got even more parts of the kids k nex. WOW he loves these things and plays with them ALL the time.
Thats about all for now....Happy Valentines Day...I love my husband and my two amazing sons!

Highlights of the last couple days....
Friday was my birthday, I was suppose to be off, but with all the snow...I switched days and took Thursday off instead. So I worked on my birthday from 5:30a-2p..oh well. Adam, the boys, my sister-in-law and I went to Applebees for dinner. The boys had another snow day and got to spend the day with Grandma KayKay (good thing she retired!!!)
Saturday Drew had a basketball tourney in Caro. They played against a caro 5th grade team and won...then played against a different caro team and lost in a "double over time shoot out" (Drew scored)...then played against the 1st caro team, and we lost again. Drew ended up with 2 baskets and 1 free throw all day!! (Today was the first time he's scored all season!!) He was fouled a few times, and actually made another basket, but the whistle was blown before the basket, so it didn't count!! Ugh all these rules, lol. He had a great time and really loves playing.
Saturday night we went to the Papesh house. We played apples to apples junior (we bought that b/c its easier for the boys...but mommy likes it too), guitar hero, rock band and the wii. We had lots of laughs, and just a great time. I thought it was awsome to hang out with them. I really miss seeing the boys everyday. Austin was the life of the party. Apparently he loves beer, LOL. J/K. He made Adam and I laugh so much. I even put him in his jammies (I used to get him dressed all the time) so that took me back about a year and a half. I can't believe it's been that long since I watched them. Austin beat Bryce at wii bowling...hehehe. Bryce was shocked b/c Bryce is the big bowler in the Brechtelsbauer house. Playing rock band was really neat. We had played it at the stores during some Christmas shopping, but never at a house with the foot pedal for the drums. That seemed to be the biggest problem for the little guys. Dawn sang every song, and the kids (including Joe) took turns on the drums and guitars. Dawn is a GREAT singer!!! Dawn also got beat by an 11 year old at guitar hero...hehehe. She says it was the wine...(not sure I believe that, LOL) Over all we had a great time. Can't wait to plan another one. This time at the Brechtelsbauer house.
Sunday, I had to work...nothing too fun and exciting about that.
Monday...while at work, it was very exciting, but not much fun. It all started when the toilet was frozen...so I put an out of order sign on it. A little while later, I looked under the counter (where water pipes go) and there was ice on our papers. I realized there were icicles hanging down. So while on the phone with Dawn (from work) we decided to put a heater under there. It wasn't under there but 3 minutes and the water EXPLODED!!! THANK GOODNESS a very regular customer was there, and he figured out how to shut the water off in the whole store. But not before the store basically flooded with about an inch of water....less as it started to spread all over. It was a mess. Dawn came up, and helped me clean, but then realized my feet were soaked and frozen, she ran home to get me clean socks and some dry shoes. My shoes were dripping!!! The plumber came and fixed the pipe that had burst, but wow did we have a mess. There was water everywhere. Norm (the owner) is VERY lucky that it happened while someone was there and not at night. It really could have been much worse. For about 2 months (a little while ago) I had the worst Mondays. I would always joke with Dawn that everything awful happened when I was there, but then things got better and I'd have great days. Well yesterday put the icing on the cake!!! It was probably the worst day. What bothered me even worse is while we were looking for a way to shut the water off in the store, customers were still coming in and expecting me to wait on them. Water was gushing out all over and they seemed to care less. UGH (men and their beer!!!)

All this lovely snow
Yesterday the boys got out of school at 1pm. As we were driving home, at the corner of Gilford and VanBuren, we did a spin out and went into someones front yard. I yelled "hold on" but Drew yelled, "yeah, this is fun." I was all freaked out. We tried going back and forth a few times, but got no where. A vehicle came down and the lady asked if we needed help. I said yes, and she backed into the driveway, and came to help, along with Mrs. Tetil and her husband (a teacher at Reese Elementary school.) PHEW!!! With the 3 of them pushing me back and forth, we finally got out!!! That was scary!! Carma came and bit me in the arse because I had just said to the boys, "mom wanted to pick you up on a day like today, because your safer in here then the bus!!" Plus, there was a high school kid that had spun out into a field...by how far in the field he was, he was going way too fast. But I had told the boys..."them high school kids don't know how to drive on roads like this" then we spin out!!! AHHHH
Anyways, after getting to work 10 minutes late. Adam came and got the boys, and I worked with Kirbie while watching the news and listening to customers come in and tell us how bad the roads were, and asking when we were closing. Very suprisingly we were BUSY!!! About 7pm, I text the owner after hearing the side roads had close to a foot on them. He said we could close at 9pm... OOHHH 1 hr early. We were both a little mad, because we didnt want to drive on the roads. I called Dawn who has 4 wheel drive and she came up with her 21 yr old son. She sent both Kirbie and I home at 8pm. After Kirbie and I pushed each other out of the parking lot (drifts behind our cars were redicilious), off we went. I walked in my house at 9:02pm. WOW over an hour to get home. I was white nuckled all the way!!! I did say a prayer before I left, just asking God to watch over me and get me home safe. A few times I thought about calling Adam and saying, I was DONE!!! I almost pulled into Kenny and Stacie Bensons house, and was going to crash for the night. I did see a wrecker pulling 1 vehicle out of the field, 2 other cars in fields, and another truck pulled off to the side, quite possibly just letting me go thru, since Bradleyville was down to barly 1 lane.
Anyways, after already knowing Reese had closed school, the boys and I slept in. Molly's vet called and wanted me to reschedule!! Dawn called me and wanted to switch shifts, so I didn't have to drive again today. So I took the day off, and will work tomorrow on my 31st birthday...oh well.
The boys and I really enjoyed all the snow, other then trying to either shovel or snowblow. We got "G" and Papa's snowmobile out and got it stuck in a drift. Tough work digging that thing out, but I got my work out, and got it unstuck. We tied a rope and sled to it, and went all over in the fields and yard. Both boys drove it for the first time. Of course with mom on the back. They did great in the fields, but with the huge drifts in the yard, mom didn't want to get stuck again, and she took over!! Both boys got drumped out once on the sled, LOL (bad mommy) but both came up just a giggling and ran back to the sled.
Molly LOVED the snow. Daisey HATED it!!! You sure can tell who is the puppy and who is the old fart, LOL. Molly was outside for a long time today, running up and down a big drift in the fenced in doggie area!!! What a wonderful funfilled day we had. Too bad it looks like school and work will be back in session tomorrow!!! Oh well, too much fresh air and tough work, and this ole lady wouldn't be much fun!!!
Hope everyone else enjoyed the snow day as much as we did!

Molly and Drew
Today after school, Molly tried to climb in Bryce's backpack. I tried to put her in it, but she was too big and hopped out. Drew grabbed his book bag and we put her in there. I quickly grabbed the camera (thinking BLOG) and snapped 1 picture before she got mad and jumped out. The boys were just laughing!!! I kind of cut Drew's head off, but he was having a hard time holding her up, because she wanted out!!! It was very funny!!!

Adam's basketball game
The doggies...
The boys fish
For his 6th birthday, Bryce wanted nothing more then a 10 gallon fish tank, like his big brother had. What a great grandma Kay Kay and grandpa RaRa he has. They bought this big present for him. He was very excited, and insisted he knew what it was before he opened it. He was correct!!! A few days after that, we went to Meijers where he picked out 2 fish and 1 algee eater. He feeds his fish every morning and every night. His fish mean a lot to him. Here is a pic I took of him last night by his tank.
Drew got a small 1 gallon fish tank for his 11th birthday from a friend. We put that together, then quickly realized it wasn't going to be big enough for what he wanted. He used his birthday money and bought a 10 gallon tank, and some neat things to go in it for the fish. On Christmas Eve, mommy was cleaning out both boys tanks, and somehow killed 3 fish....(bad mommy) so after Bryce got his fish tank for his birthday, we went to Meijers and bought new fish. Drew also picked out 2 fish. Both his are gold fish, 1 much bigger then the other. He also bought an algee eater 9in hopes of mom not having to clean the tanks so often!!!) Here he is with his fish tank.

OTHER PICS....
Hey to all those that know me, know that I am NOT computer literate. I FINALLY figured out how to post pics on my blog...UGH such hard work, but I tried to go back and add some when we were at the pistons game. Somehow they got put on the blog after that post...UGH So frusterating. So if anyone cares to scroll back a few posts, you will see the boys at the PISTONS game...LOL
From now on, I will do pics and writing at the same time, HOPEFULLY!!! I am trying...LOL
Introducing Molly!!!
Many of you have met Molly, but others have not. This is her. She is a basset hound that Adam and I bought for the boys for Christmas. She was born November 4th, 07. She is a very good puppy, but yet a puppy none the less. She loves to chew on many things, including but not limited to...keyboard cables, shoes, socks, purses (sry mom), the boys clothes as they try to get dressed, toes and Daisey!!!
This past Saturday, she went with us to the Roberts house to meet Wrigley. Wrigley is their beagle. They had lots of fun!!! They played and fought and did lots of entertaining. She sure is a cute irresistable little thing!!
Hopefully this pic comes thru!!! UGH!!! I need blogging classes, LOL

so I've been slacking....
ok, I haven't made a post in here in over a week.
Such a busy life I lead, never any spare time. I am off tomorrow and promise to post some pics. For now, I am off to take a quick cat nap, since I've been up since 4:50am....and then we are off to Robin and Tims for a fun gaming night......
Both boys are signed up for ball in Reese....Bryce in T-ball and Drew (hopefully) in majors. Drew insists he isn't playing, but mean mom signed him up. We will see when the time comes. If he don't want to play, maybe we'll look into football in Vassar. UGH kids....
more tomorrow
